Strickland State Forest, Somersby
About Strickland State Forest
We loved that it was just a short drive from Gosford and accessible in a little hatch back.
There were multiple walks ranging from only 20 minuted to a few hours.
Lost of different landscapes too, including rain forests, an eucalyptus forest, waterfalls, streams and even a big bridge!
Things to note for kitties: dogs often visit this state forest too and it can become quite busy and noisy on weekend and during school holidays.
