Supporting the Australian Bushfires

The Catexplorer team is heartbroken at the devastation being caused by the bushfires in Australia in the Spring/Summer of 2019/2020.

How you can help us

In January & February 2020, $1 from every sale in the Catexplorer online store will be donated to the the Australian Red Cross.

This will help support the Red Cross as they help those people who are impacted by the fires, who have lost their homes, businesses & livelihoods.

On top of that, you have the option to add an additional donation of $1 or $5 to your order, so that you can donate further to the Red Cross.

We will continue to donate a further $1 to the Dogstar Foundation as done with every order from the Catexplorer online shop.

Donations Catexplorer has already made to help support the bushfire crisis

To help support we have already donated $1 from every sale at the Cat Lovers Show (held in November/December 2019) to the Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Victoria. The Cat Lovers Show was held in Melbourne, Victoria, and we wanted to support the amazing firefighter from the CFA in Victoria. 50c from each sale on the Catexplorer online shop in November & December 2019 has been donated to WIRES who are doing an amazing job supporting and looking after the half a million animals impacted by the fires. Learn more about the amazing work they do here: https://www.wires.org.au/

An additional 50c from each sale on the Catexplorer online shop in November & December 2019 has been donated to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS). The NSW RFS is currently stretched to the limit fighting the fires. They are also a largely volunteer driven organisation and we wanted to support them too.
