Leo’s mum, Sheri, told us all about Leo.

I was a self-proclaimed dog person until one of my friends needed to re-home a young ginger tabby. I thought maybe it was time to move beyond taking care of plants and cats are aloof and don't need a lot of attention anyways.

I soon found out how wonderfully wrong I was!

Leo showed me that cats are also loving, affectionate, adventurous, playful, loyal, energetic, and communicative.

He has helped me realize that there aren't "cats that act like dogs" or vice versa - cats and dogs just act like themselves!

Humans like myself just need to unlearn those stereotypes, recognize our animal friends for who they really are, and love them and give them what they need for their true and amazing personalities to shine through.

I call Leo an ambassador for cats because everyone that meets him says they didn't like cats until they met him and he melted into their laps or fist-bumped them for a treat.

I don't have enough positive adjectives for him, he is a clever, funny, brave, loving boy!

What would Leo say is their personality?

Leo would probably say that he is an extrovert and a courageous free spirit with lots of love to give!

If Leo could speak, what would be the most common thing they would say?

FEED ME AND LOVE ME!! Wait - what's outside??

What has Leo achieved that has made you the proudest?

Although I am so proud at how far Leo has come in learning tricks and in our newest catexplorer ventures, by far I am most proud that he is so resilient and true to his loving and affectionate personality.

No matter what happens - if he is meeting new people, is in a new environment, or something scares him, I always see his personality shine through!
