Momo & Appa

Momo & Appa’s human, Joshua told us all about Momo & Appa.

In June of 2020 after being stuck inside for 4 months we took a road trip with my Abuela to go visit my Mum in North Carolina.

A litter of stray kittens had been hanging out in the woods behind my Mummy's home for almost 2 months when we arrived and we fell in love with them right away.

Two days before leaving to head back to NY we decided to adopt two of the kittens.

The mother cat was very affectionate but didn't seem to care much for her kittens.

Momo who was the runt of the litter and caught our eye immediately. Momo was a fully black cat like her mother and was this soft tiny puffball of love who just wanted food and to cuddle.

Appa on the other hand was one of the larger kittens and kind of a bully but ran after us as we tried to take away Momo. You could tell Appa was being protective of her sister so we decided to take her as well.

Since then, Momo & Appa have been attached at the hip and they have never left our side.

What would Momo & Appa say is their personalities?

Momo & Appa are sisters from the same litter yet their personalities couldn't be more different.

Momo is a total softie. Momo is a black puffball who loves to have a cuddle, will greet you at the door, meow when she wants to go for a walk and will leave her toys next to your pillow at night.

Appa is an independent queen who runs her own show. Appa is twice the size of Momo and is willing to use it to her advantage.

But don't get it twisted Momo does not take any slack from Appa and will defend herself.

Appa likes to eat, sleep and eat some more lol. Appa is VERY vocal. If she wants something or isn't pleased with what's happening, she will let you know it with her MEOWS.

Both Momo & Appa love to go for walks and car rides are their favourite.

If Momo & Appa could speak, what would be the most common thing they would say?

Momo - "I Love You" & Appa - "I Am Hungry!"
